Our area was one of the hardest hit by Typhoon Sendong.
These pictures were taken the morning after the flood.. the moment the water has subsided.
The rushing water reached the rooftop in less than 5 minutes. There was no time to save any material things, only lives to secure. Though we really lost everything, I’m glad all of us are safe and alive. It’s just heartbreaking to see neighbors die and suffer.
December 16-17 was a horrible nightmare. We never expected that to happen to our place. Flood never reached our area ever since.
I thank everyone for the help by the way. It has been a stressful week but we’re coping up. This is my first Christmas out of the house. It’s still a very merry Christmas after all.
